Like they really pushed sacrificing him as far as it could go.
And made it so his soul being sacrificed just so happened to be the only way to ensure the squad’s safety and happiness once again. Because him giving up his life for them before just wasn’t enough, he’s gotta lose part of his soul too, the only thing he had left. Landon suffering for everyone else’s benefit was really an endless cycle that clearly never would’ve stopped, no matter how long the show went on. Genuinely, what on earth went on in that writers’ room that led to this? What made them think any of this was okay? To make this kind of a character losing absolutely EVERYTHING over and over again the answer to everyone’s problems? It’s downright disgusting and disturbing on so many levels. It makes no sense to me when people say Landon got the show cancelled, like… the show got cancelled during the season when Landon was barely there. Landon as a character, not Hope’s love for Landon, but Landon himself, didn’t have any focus since season 2 when the show was doing better.
The real Landon was gone for the last two seasons when the show went downhill, hardly getting any screen time in season 4 when it got cancelled, yet people are still gonna blame him? Same with how they blame Handon too. Hope and Landon were apart for the last two seasons as well.
